What I've been doing the past few weeks.

Looking out the window of my office (I face the wall - my office mate has the window) at rain and wind and no hills. There should be hills in that grey blob in the back. Autumn has struck and we've had 60+ mph winds / gust for about a week. It's kind of awesome.

My first paper is tomorrow, then a few days off, then the London paper. They're the same, I've decided - different titles, but I don't give a rat's ass. They have to be the same, so I can get to the Norwegian paper in time.  Also found out I have a chapter due in a collected volume last month - I mean, in December, since it is going to have to be December now.

But - here is the first pic of one of our scanned bones. They haven't "resolved" the "point cloud" yet, so it's not yet rotational / 3D, but it will be by next week. How cool looking is this.

Hope all is well in your part of the world, wherever that is. More fun pics., by the way, in a few weeks - I'll be back to the whale bones in Edinburgh and then CCooper and I will be pub crawling - and probably literally crawling - through Edinburgh for a couple of days. Fun fun fun!
