Back in Wales!

Well, back in steaming hot Cardiff. Yup - mid-80s today. Yup. Crazy. Went to Comeston Medieval Village for medieval day today - made a pot, wrote a charter, got a charm made, all very ye olde. Took lots of photos, mostly of animals. I call this one "Hairy Trotter. Yes, derived from the Simpsons. I was also in the grocery store, where they sold Homer Simpson Doh-nuts. Little pink and white sprinkled donuts. Perfect. But this is a pig.

This was a terrifying rooster who was walking around like he owned the place. Cocky bastard. But seriously, I was scared of him.

This is a close-up of an awesome thatch roof. The roofs were my favorite part. It was a really hot day, so I stood under roofs a lot, thus growing to appreciate them. There were also many roofs with gigantic scary spider nests, which drove me outside, and then that stupid rooster was out there, so I had to go back. It was a pretty complicated day.

More thatch. Seriously - these roofs were awesome. And these are not the spider webs which I spoke of. They were hard core nests. Spooky.

And this was my favorite sign of the day. I think it applies well to students, also. The Welsh makes it look more important, I think.

That's it. Pretty day. I'm off to wash my hands. More exciting posts to follow soon from Scotland.
